About Roers Construction Roers Companies is a leading developer specializing in multi-family housing projects across various regions.
With a commitment to innovation and efficiency, we are expanding our operations to include a dedicated architecture division focused on prototype building and standardization.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Architect to spearhead this initiative and help us achieve our goals.
Responsibilities As the Senior Architect for our newly established Architecture Division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our multi-family housing projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include creating standardized designs for 3-story garden products, streamlining the estimating and design processes, and ensuring efficient replication of designs in multiple regions.
This role will require a strong analytical mindset and the ability to handle the repetition inherent in prototype design.
Develop and lead the Architecture Division, establishing a dedicated team to work on multi-family housing projects.
Create standardized 3-story garden style project floor and unit plans that can be easily replicated across different regions.
Oversee all architectural responsibilities, including scale drawings, contract documents, entitlements, plats, and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain working knowledge of current industry software including Revit and AutoCAD.
Attend project coordination, design, and owner site meetings for all originated projects.
Collaborate closely with our in-house interior design team to ensure efficient, cohesive, and functional design creation.
Work hand in hand with our purchasing and preconstruction groups to optimize cost-effective solutions.
Contract with and collaborate with outside consultants for landscaping, civil, and structural designs.
Complete appropriate RFP's as needed for outside consultants to be carried under Architectural Services.
Maintain architectural licenses in Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, and Florida and leverage experience in these markets.
Office out of our headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and occasionally travel to project sites.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of architects, providing guidance and support.
Develop and execute the overall architectural strategy to align with company goals.
Requirements:
Licensed Architect in Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, and Florida.
Extensive experience in multi-family housing projects, with a focus on 3-story garden product design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle the repetitive nature of prototype design.
Exceptional project management and leadership skills.
Proven experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Innovative mindset with a passion for efficiency and standardization 10
